These really sweet pictures come from my niece’s 1st Butterfly Birthday Party. Chloe was turning 1 and wasn’t really into princesses or any of the traditional girly themes. Not yet anyway. Enter my Butterfly Party Printables!
Lisa put this party together at the very last minute (think midnight the night before) and I think she did a great job!
She packaged up some insect candies as “bug bites” in keeping with the Butterfly Birthday Party theme. This a fun, cheap and easy way to send home party favors.
I love how Lisa has used my Butterfly Party Printables to really pull together a sweet and simple Butterfly Birthday Party table. A butterfly themed tablecloth adds to the design as well.
Lisa used the printable food picks from my party printables to decorate the cupcakes that were iced with coordinating pastel colored icing. They look really cute. I can’t vouch for the taste as Lisa comes from the same culinary school as me, but they look gorgeous (and 1 year olds don’t really have a discerning palate yet anyway).
There was some “butterfly nectar” for thirsty little girls and boys.
Other Butterfly Birthday Party food included “caterpillar kebobs”, which were quick and easy to put together with grapes and marshmallows, and some homemade “butterfly cookies” . I am super impressed with how great these look Lisa!
No party in Australia or NZ is complete without “fairy bread”. A nutritious snack of white bread, butter and 100’s & 1,000’s, also known as sprinkles.
The birthday cake is simple and cute too. A regular packet cake topped with store bought butterfly decorations and some marshmallows that match the Butterfly Birthday Party color scheme. Done in 5 minutes!
Chloe has just had her 2nd birthday. Yep, it took me a year to put these photos up here. Happy Birthday Chloe!
